Workshops - What you should know before you book.
Cowden Workshops
The Cowden Workshops are 2-day events, and are more like little retreats. Some people come from a long way away, like Ireland, Scotland, Spain and France.
If you can only manage one day, that's fine, too. Although you will obviously get more out of 2 days, if that's not possible, then you are welcome to pick any day.
The 2-day workshops run for 6 days on the trot, but should be booked as follows:
Monday/Tuesday
Wednesday/Thursday
Friday/Saturday
All Other Workshops
All of our other workshops around the country are just one day events. If they happen in the same location two days in a row, BOTH days will have the same content.
Mixed Ability Groups
It doesn’t matter whether you are a novice or a seasoned stamper; we welcome mixed ability groups and we find them brilliant. Barbara is a qualified teacher. She knows how it works. If you have ever been to one of our workshops before, you will know that this is never an obstacle.
Course Content
There will be a healthy mix of pattern-building, brayer-work and many of the other arty techniques Barbara is well known for. Rest assured that, by the time you leave, you will be much more confident with your stamping and cardmaking - especially your brayering!

Don’t expect to go home with finished cards, but do expect to learn loads, produce lovely artwork, have lots of fun and make new friends. There is usually an opportunity to purchase a stamp or two should you wish, so be prepared!
